When we meet
We’d love you to join us for one or more of our 3 Sunday services at 10.30am, 3.30pm or 7.30pm.
The 10.30 meets in Lime Walk every Sunday. The service is ordered, informal and joyful – and designed to help the wide range of people who come to grow in Christ. The services include music, prayers, Bible reading and a talk. Each service lasts between an hour and an hour and a quarter.
The broadest cross-section of our church family makes up the 10.30 congregation – from the very young to the not-so-young via those somewhere in between! A creche for under 2s, Springers for 2-3s and Sunday Club for 4-14s run during this service making it popular with those who have children. A number of students from Brookes University also attend.
About once every six weeks the 10.30 and 3.30 services have a ‘Service for All Ages’. Children stay with us throughout the service and are often needed to help out with action songs, and bible stories. The talk aims to provide food for thought whether the listener is young or old.
Tea, coffee and snacks are served after every 10.30 service.
The 3.30 is a small, friendly afternoon congregation made up mainly of families with young children, but also with a number of older/younger members.
There is a creche for 0-2s, and Sunday Club for 3-11s.
Children's tea is served afterwards.
For more information on both these services, contact the congregation leader Al Horn.
The 7.30 meets in Lime Walk every Sunday and is very handy if you are living on the east side of Oxford or are studying at Brookes University. The services are quite informal and last about and hour and 20 minutes. We meet in order to hear God speak in his word, to pray, to sing, and to encourage each other to live for Christ. This congregation is made up of lots of 20s - 30s and students as well as those more mature in years!
For more information, contact the Congregation Leader Dave Reid.
We look forward to welcoming you!
